We collect almost nothing, we sell none of it, and we do not follow you around the internet. The ship sees all, but it keeps no notes. This page says exactly what that means.
Who we are
Heve Heve Bebe is a traveling music collective. We run hevehevebebe.art and we are responsible for everything described here. To see what we hold about you, to correct it, or to have it deleted, write to us through the form on the front page and say so in the message. A person answers.
What we collect
Two things, and only if you give them.
- What you send us. If you use the booking form we keep what you typed: your name, your email, the place, and why people should dance there. Nothing is collected beyond what you type.
- Your address for the caravan. If you join the caravan we keep your email, and the moment you ticked the box.
We also count visits with Umami, an analytics tool that runs on our own server. It sets no cookies, keeps no IP address and builds no profile of you. It records which pages were viewed, roughly which country from, and which site sent you. It cannot identify you, and that is also why there is no cookie banner.
Why, and on what basis
We use what you send us to answer you, and to turn up if we can. Under the GDPR that is our legitimate interest in replying to a message you started. The caravan postcards go out because you asked for them, and you can stop them with one reply. We do not sell your data, we do not share it with advertisers, and we do not use it to train anything.
Who else touches it
Only the services that make the site work: a hosting provider that also delivers the forms to us, and our own address book. Each processes data only on our instructions. Some of them operate outside your country; where data leaves the UK or EEA it travels under Standard Contractual Clauses or an equivalent safeguard.
How long we keep it
- Booking messages: two years from our last exchange, then deleted.
- Caravan addresses: until you ask to leave, then deleted within a month.
Your rights
You can ask what we hold, ask us to correct it, ask us to delete it, or object to any of the above. Write through the form and say which. We aim to answer within thirty days. If you are in the UK or EU and we get it wrong, you can complain to your data protection authority.
Security, and the honest limit of it
The site is served over HTTPS and the form submissions sit behind the hosting provider's login, which two people hold. No system is perfectly secure and we will not pretend this one is. If we ever learn that your data has been exposed we will tell you.
Children
The shows are for everyone. The forms are not aimed at anyone under 16, and we do not knowingly keep a child's details. If one has reached us, tell us and it goes.
Changes
If this page changes, the date at the top changes with it. Nothing changes quietly.
